"Solid" by Zaha Hadid
Zaha Hadid's striking exhibition architecture, based on initial sketches, was ultimately designed on a computer. "Solid", her object marking the anniversary exhibition "25", depicts the exhibition design for the Deutsche Guggenheim exhibition space. The 3-D model graphically illustrates her vision of a square structure interspersed with spheres: When "passing through" the model, which is an architectural model and sculpture in one, unusual perspectives, shades and spatial experiences arise.
